Anyone who has an elderly parent or grandparent living on their own knows what it means to worry about them. With OnKöl, you can be there without actually being there.

OnKöl is able to link to a myriad of health-tracking and security sensors, and can notify family members by cell phone when a relative fails to get out of bed, take their medications, or perform any number of important tasks. The stylish box requires no setup on Grandma's end; all she has to do is plug it in and it automatically connects to any sensors you have installed through Z-Wave technology. You'll have to set her up with the sensors separately, though.

The OnKöl system costs $29 per month.
