This camcorder has given me nothing but problems. When using the DVD -R disk, I would almost get to the end of the disk and would receive a write error and the whole disk of data was lost. This happened twice. With the DVD -RW disk, I formatted the disk and than it would continue to ask me to format again until I would get a "bad disk" or "no disk" error. I went through 3 $4 disks and none of them were recording video. I sent it back to Samsung and three weeks later it was returned. The repair report said "No problem found" and it had the exact same problem. Now I have to send it back again.
