Women's History Month is here. Many brands are taking time out to acknowledge and celebrate the achievements of women, including Amazon. Amazon Launchpad, Amazon's digital storefront, is celebrating the event with its own recognition of women-owned small businesses.

Last month, Amazon Launchpad highlighted the work of Black creators and business owners, and this month, the spotlight is on brands and products that were created or are owned by women.

What is Amazon Launchpad?

We've talked about Amazon Launchpad before, but to recap, it's a virtual storefront that aims to generate visibility for smaller brands that sell their wares through Amazon, providing spotlight for creators that might otherwise get lost within the vast landscape of Amazon's products and services. This month, Amazon Launchpad is featuring 11 different women-owned brands for Women's History Month.

Also in the realm of clean makeup is Melixir, South Korea's first vegan skincare brand. The brand, which was founded by Hana Lee, is committed to formulating 100% vegan skincare that prioritizes a minimal environmental impact. The Melixir vegan butter chapstick, which you can purchase for $12, has incredible reviews on Amazon, and is recommended for its smooth, silky feel and beautiful, minimalistic packaging.

Natural Radiant Life was featured last month, and you can find them on Amazon Launchpad's hub again for March; the brand has a robust catalog of chemical-free, reasonably priced skincare designed to help slow signs of aging. The company formulates their products with older women in mind, and is home to everything from facial cleansers to vitamin C serums. Romer Skincare is also in the business of clean, simple skincare. Founder Lauren Romer wanted to create products that would take steps out of an everyday skincare routine that individuals with different skin types could use.

If you're invested in all-natural ingredients beyond your own skincare, you can also shop at WashBar, which was founded by Lou Knight to help pet-owners wash and care for dogs with allergies. WashBar is home to various pet soaps that are formulated with sensitive skin in mind.

Innovation is a key theme amongst Amazon Launchpad's wares, from energy-saving lanterns to reusable food storage wraps from Bee's Wrap. Bee's Wrap was created by Sarah Kaeck; the company creates sustainable food wraps using resin, beeswax, cotton, and plant oil. You can get assorted packs of food wraps, as well as select from the individual patterns available in the Bee's Wrap storefront.

LuminAID was created by Andrea Sreshta and Anna Stork, who invented the patent for LuminAID's solar light technology.
