Americans looking to add some European-style flair to their kitchens have another range brand to choose from, and this one features a rotisserie.
Spanish appliance giant Fagor America recently debuted two new models—a 24-inch and a 36-inch. They feature sleek, minimalist lines, and a built-in rotisserie that lets home chefs cook whole chickens or roasts on a spit.
Both models can run on either regular gas or liquid petroleum and also feature true convection modes, with a heating element that's in-line with a convection fan.
The ranges are technically freestanding, however they require no clearance so owners hoping for seamless integration can place them flush with existing cabinetry if they wish. It's a similar design to what we've seen from Smeg, Ilve, Blomberg, Fisher & Paykel, and Bertazzoni.
Similarly, some ranges from Capital, Ilve, and American Range also offer rotisserie options.
In the US, Fagor is primarily known for small appliances and apartment-sized refrigerators, but the company also makes cooktops and wall ovens.
This is Fagor America's first foray into the US range market, and the company faces some pretty stiff competition from other Euro-style ranges along with established "commercial style" brands like Jenn-Air, GE Monogram, Wolf, and Viking, to name a few.
Fortunately, the 24-inch and 36-inch ranges are extremely well-priced. The 36-inch can be had for $2,499, while the 24 inch costs just $1,499. Online, we found the 24-inch RFA-244 DF on sale for $1,099, while the 36-inch RFA-365 DF sells for a little over $2,200.
