You probably don't know it, but you use True Refrigeration products all the time. For years, the company has provided industrial-strength refrigerators, ice-makers, and food prep equipment to restaurants and hotels. But lately, it's been more aggressively targeting the residential market, feeding consumers' desires for true professional appliances.

The two latest products in True's residential assault are both firsts for the company: an under-counter clear ice maker and a mammoth 42-inch French-door refrigerator.

15-inch Clear Ice Machine

The True Residential 15-inch Clear Ice Machine is a standalone unit that can store up to 28 pounds of ice, and produce an eye-popping 70 pounds per day. Its sleek stainless-steel finish fits in most kitchens, and like other current True Residential products, it includes the company's TruLumina LED lighting system to produce your choice of 14 designer interior lighting colors.

Better still, despite its impressive output, the Clear Ice Machine uses less water and energy than comparable clear ice makers, earning it what True refers to as an "industry exclusive" Energy Star certification.

The unit features an indoor-outdoor design, meaning it can either complement an outdoor entertainer's kitchen or work alongside your primary fridge. Notably, it also comes with a three-year outdoor warranty, reinforcing the six-year closed system warranty.

True 42 Full-Size Refrigerator

Inspired by True's commercial refrigeration solutions, the new True 42 is the company's first full-size fridge designed for residential use. With ample storage and impeccable build quality, including stainless steel inside and out, it's every bit the professional choice for high-end kitchens.

Luxurious touches are everywhere in the French door design, from the soft-close drawers in both the fridge and freezer compartments, to the 120-degree stay-open doors and ramp-up interior lighting that gradually illuminates as you open the fridge.

Even the glass shelves inside the True 42 are encased in stainless steel for extra rigidity and durability.

Still, the fridge's design is decidedly industrial; in-door shelves and bins are made of polished stainless steel, and the machine is powered by dual compressors and evaporators—one each for the refrigerator and freezer. Even the glass shelving is steel-enclosed for extra rigidity and durability.

"We’ve developed a product that we believe will meet—if not exceed—our clients’ high standards."

“Working closely with our engineering team and listening to the feedback from the design community and world renowned chefs, we’ve developed a product that we believe will meet—if not exceed—our clients’ high standards,” said True Director of Sales and Marketing Steve Proctor, in a statement.

Pricing and availability for the True Residential 15-inch Clear Ice Machine and True 42 full-size refrigerator are unavailable at this time, but we'll keep you updated as more info becomes available.
