If you're anything like me, the second week of February is awful. One, because winters in the Boston area are atrocious. Two, because football is seven long months away.

And while the NFL doesn't ever truly cede the spotlight to other sports, football is the one thing that makes the end of summer easier to bear. And nothing makes football better than a giant TV to watch it on.

To celebrate, we've gone ahead and gathered the best TV deals we could find so that you'll be watching your favorite team in style.

TCL 55-inch 55FS3750 Roku TV - $449.99 at Amazon

Like most kickoffs, there's not much that's fancy about this 55-inch 1080p Roku TV from TCL. But we reviewed a nearly identical model last year and were generally impressed with the performance for the money. It didn't blow our tests out of the water, but you get good picture quality, a big screen, and built-in Roku for streaming things like Netflix and Hulu.

This particular model is about as affordable as it gets for a 55-inch TV, especially since it's $100 off right now.

Samsung 60-inch UN60KS8000 4K TV: $1,497.99 at Amazon

If you're looking for something a little more high performance, the 60-inch Samsung UN60KS8000 is the best value we could find. It's down from its original MSRP of $2,299.99 right now and for that you get a top-notch 4K TV with Samsung's full streaming platform and plenty of bells and whistles.

We haven't tested this model, but we've seen it in person and it's impressive. It's also earned very positive reviews from both customers and some of our colleagues in the industry. If you like Samsung and want a big TV at a reasonable price, this is the way to go.

Hisense 50-inch 50H8C 4K TV: $469.99 at Amazon

Like the TCL deal above, the 50-inch Hisense H8-series TV is all about value. This one's only a 50-inch screen, but you're getting 2016-ready features like 4K resolution and High Dynamic Range (HDR) compatibility for under $500. That's down from the original MSRP of $599, though we see this one on sale quite a bit.

We just reviewed this TV a little while ago and while it also didn't dominate our tests, it more than held its own and compares well to TVs that cost at least twice as much.

ClearStream Eclipse 35-mile HDTV Antenna — $39.99 at Amazon

This isn't actually on sale, but if you have cut the cord and you still want to watch football, this is the best way to do it. With any HD antenna you can pick up crisp, clear HD-quality channels from your local broadcasters for free, including your local football games.

There are many, many HDTV antennas out there, but the ClearStream Eclipse is perhaps the best-regarded. It's won plaudits from our friends over at The Wirecutter, as well as from over 1,000 user reviews on Amazon. I have one and it works great, letting me watch football in the guest room where we don't have cable access.

While your mileage will vary depending on weather, your proximity to broadcast towers, and your TV's location in the home, for less than $50 this is a great deal.
