The recalls just keep rolling in this week: H&M is recalling children's pajama sets for failing to meet flammability standards, and Stokke announced a recall of their Infant Steps Bouncer due to a fall hazard.

H&M is a popular destination for reasonably-priced kids clothing, but the retailer is recalling about 9,000 sets of pajamas for posing a risk of burn injuries to kids. The recall includes two styles of children's 100% cotton long-sleeve pajama sets, which were sold in sizes two through 10. The first item affected by the recall was sold as a set of two pajamas: A pink style with a dog’s face screen-printed onto the front and two attached fabric ears, the second a gray one with a pink bow at the neckline, and a pink heart screen-printed on the chest. The second style was sold as a single set, and includes a white long-sleeve top with a cat’s face screen-printed on the front and two attached fabric ears. The product codes for the recalled pajamas are 0494860 and 053764, and they can be found on care label inside each garment. No injuries have been reported.

The pajamas affected by the recall were priced between $14.99 and $24.99 and were sold at H&M stores and online from July 2018 to May 2019.

If you own any of the recalled pajama sets, discontinue use immediately, and contact H&M. The company is offering a full refund plus a $20 gift card to any consumers affected by the faulty items. Call the H&M Customer Service line at 855-466-7467, or visit H&M's website to find out more about the recall and to request a replacement.

This infant bouncer poses a fall hazard

Stokke is one of our favorite brands of baby gear, but the company announced it is recalling about 5400 Infant Steps Bouncers. The Stokke Infant Steps Bouncer can be used in conjunction with the Stokke Steps all-in-one modular seating system, and the company has received reports that the attachment is not securely latching to the base of the chair.

The models affected by the recall were manufactured between February 2014 and December 2018, and include model numbers: 483201 in Blue, 483202 in Greige, 483203 in Pink, 483204 in Grey Clouds, and 483205 in White Mountains. The item number can be found on the label underneath the bouncer seat's plastic frame. You can check to see if your particular model is subject to recall by visiting Stokke's website.

If you have a Stokke Steps Bouncer that is subject to the recall, you'll need to register on Stokke's site to receive a free repair kit. According to Stokke, it is safe to continue to use the Stokke Steps Bouncers and the Stokke Steps Chairs separately. For more information, email info-usa@stokke.com or call 877-978-6553.
