Acer Aspire E15 On A Table

Always a great value: Acer Aspire E 15 575

While it may not be discounted at the moment, we think that for the money, this powerful Acer is among the best deals for most people. It comes with very impressive specs for the money, an HD screen, a good keyboard, and a nice trackpad all for only $549. It's also easily upgraded to gain more internal storage and you can conveniently double the RAM. Read our full review of this Acer here.

If $549 is too rich for your blood, Acer has a slower, but less expensive version available for only $349. You miss out on a speedy SSD, and it comes with a less capable Intel Core i3 chip and half the RAM, but it's still a very nice laptop for the money, and it's just as easy to upgrade later.

Save big on a just-right Dell: Dell Inspiron 15 i5559-4682SLV

We've been really impressed with Dell's latest Inspiron laptops, and the Microsoft Store has one on a blowout low price for only $399 right now. Featuring a 15-inch display, DVD drive, a Windows Hello compatible 3D camera, and all the ports you'd want. Craving decent specs? It's a 2016 dual-core i5 chip, paired with a 1 TB HDD and 8 GB RAM for good measure. Throw in a clean, crapware-free Windows install and you're so golden for only $400.

7th generation premium 2-in-1 Dell for $200 off: Dell Inspiron 13 7000

We're early in Intel's 7th generation chips but this Dell offers the latest and greatest for a nice price. Featuring the very newest i5 processor, 8 GB RAM, and a 256 GB SSD. The 7000 series, as we saw last year, is Dell's best Inspiron laptop, coming standard with niceties like facial login using Windows Hello, a USB-C port, and even a backlit keyboard.

Dell's come a long way in a couple of years, and we'd say that this Inspiron gives you about 80% of the experience of one of their XPS 13 ultrabooks, but for a lot less dough.

Apple's latest Mac laptop, already discounted: Apple MacBook Pro 13, late 2016

Need a new Mac but don't want to have to pay as much as Apple's asking? Lucky for you! B&H is already giving $150 instant savings on the entry-level, dual-core 13-inch. This isn't the pricier version with the spiffy new Touch Bar, and you're limited to only two USB-C ports, but it's still a decent Mac according to owners.
