Apple finally joined the smart assistant party in February with the release of the Apple HomePod. At $349.99, it’s also the most expensive compared to Amazon’s Echo or Google Assistant. But if you’re an Apple die-hard, it might be the only smart speaker you want so you can sync it with your other Apple products.
Right now, as part of eBay’s “Spring Black Friday Sale” (yes, you read that right), which features a new deal every day, you can get an Apple HomePod in White or Space Gray for $329.99. It’s only 6% off the full $350 price, which honestly isn’t a huge discount. But this is also the first time we’ve seen a sale for this smart speaker, which has only been on the market for a little over a month.
The Apple HomePod has possibly the best sound we’ve heard from a smart speaker, and it connects to all your Home Kit-compatible smart devices. But like all Apple devices, this HomePod only really connects to other Apple products as well as being expensive like most Apple devices. Siri's smart assistant capabilities are also a bit limited, so don't expect an experience like you'd get with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.
