What we liked
Eufy is a spinoff company of Anker, a popular cable and battery manufacturer. Therefore the HomeVac Duo has a superb lithium ion power supply: On its maximum setting the HomeVac ran for 22 minutes straight, longer than any other cordless vac we've tested (though short of the advertised 24 minute battery life). When we ramped down the power, this vacuum ran for almost an hour.
Being a 2-in-1, the HomeVac Duo contains a built-in hand vac.
To put that in perspective, the $600 Dyson V8 Absolute can run for just 7 minutes on its highest setting or 40 minutes on its lowest.
You can switch from cleaning the floor to cleaning couch cushions in a flash.
The HomeVac Duo's 2-in-1 design is similar to the Electrolux Ergorapido. The handheld module is easy to pop in and out, and the whole thing weighs just 2.2 pounds.

When you're done cleaning, everything—including the dust brush and crevice tool—fit neatly onto the charging base. Since that charging base is so small and the main handle folds up, you can store the entire product in a closet without crushing your coats.
The competition

While the Eufy HomeVac Duo utilizes slick technology and sleek design, it has one major drawback: performance. The Duo picked up the least amount of dirt of any cordless vacuum we've ever tested. In fact it picked up less than a Dirt Devil at one-third the price.
Now, that Dirt Devil Extreme Power doesn't have a handheld unit, and only runs at full blast for 10 minutes, but it's tough to argue with the $44 price tag. Another 2-in-1, the Hoover Air 2-in-1 is another good alternative. The Air has a handheld, but it's heavier, and the battery doesn't last as long. However, the Air caught 30% more dirt per pass than the Eufy.

The Verdict

The Eufy HomeVac Duo isn't as cheap a Dirt Devil nor as powerful as a Dyson. Given its weak dirt pickup, the price has to come down to earn any recommendation. For under $100, this Eufy would be a decent choice, but for now we recommend the Electrolux Ergorapido instead. It's just $20 more, with similar features and better cleaning.
