Leica Nocticron 42.5mm f/1.2 ASPH

Leica and Panasonic's latest love child could be the best Micro Four Thirds lens to date.

Leica and Panasonic have once again teamed up for a lens designed specifically for the Micro Four Thirds system. But, while previous efforts produced excellent images, the Leica 42.5mm f/1.2 ASPH truly feels like a Leica lens. The lens is beautifully constructed, with a wonderful large focusing ring, aperture ring, and a high-quality, felt-lined hood.

With a 35mm equivalent focal length of roughly 85mm and an f/1.2 aperture, the Nocticron is an easy choice for any well-heeled photographer looking for the ultimate Micro Four Thirds portrait lens. Based on the shots we've scored with it so far, it may be the best Micro Four Thirds lens, period.
