December 13, 2005 – Capture One, the Danish maker of digital backs and image capturing software for modular systems and DSLRs, has released Capture One PRO 3.7.3 for both Windows and Mac. This new PRO version of Camera One will include more features and support for new cameras, including their own new 39 Megapixel digital backs, the P30 and P45.
Other new cameras now supported by Capture One PRO 3.7.3 are:
• Canon EOS 5D
• Canon EOS-1D Mark II N
• Konica Minolta Alpha / Dynax / Maxxum 5D
• Olympus E-500 EVOLT
• Leica Digital Module R for R8 and R9 cameras
• Beta support for Nikon D200 pre-production models
The new PRO addition of the software now features something called "Pattern Noise Suppression," which removes the "small artifacts" that were appearing in the H25, P20, P25, some Olympus cameras and the Leica Digital Module R. PRO 3.7.3 offers support of 16-bit TIFF output in the banding oppression feature. Traditional Chinese has been added as an available language. There is now also white balance support for Nikon cameras and RAW file support for a multitude of cameras.
