Starting at $349 and running up to $499, the pricing of Oura's newest biometric wearable ring simply reflects its finish. Compared with the Oura Ring 3, the Oura Ring 4 offers even more accurate data and is more comfortable to wear.

Both rings boast claims of superior fitness and biometric tracking, offering insights into sleep, stress, and your menstrual cycle. We’re comparing the Evie Ring and Oura Ring based on price, features, battery life, and more, to see which smart ring delivers a superior experience.
Buying any device means participating in the balancing act of getting the most bang for your buck while also ensuring you get the look and features that really matter to you. For wearable tech especially, this means paying special attention to the finish. The Evie Ring comes in silver, gold, and rose gold and costs $269 regardless of the finish or size. There is also no subscription required to access features of the Evie Ring.
Oura's latest edition, Oura Ring 4, comes in the smooth-designed Horizon style and starts at $349 for silver and black colors, ranging up to $499 for gold and rose gold. The Oura app subscription is also required to get more than basic information and costs $5.99 per month or $69.99 annually.
The older 3rd generation Oura Ring also comes in the Horizon style, or additionally, a plateaued Heritage style. Consumers can no longer get either style in rose gold or gold, but it is available in four other colors: silver and black (now discounted to $199.99 from $299) and Stealth and brushed titanium (now discounted to $229 from $349).
With the Silver and Black finish ringing in at less than $200, the Oura Ring Gen 3 is our winner in terms of price.
While the Evie focuses more on metrics surrounding the menstrual cycle and mood, the Oura Ring stands out with a more complete wellness spread and more intuitive female-focused data.
The Evie offers menstrual cycle tracking, though it relies on user input to log periods and cycle length instead of using sensor data like skin temperature to predict cycles like Oura does. Although they both require paying for separate subscriptions, we also appreciated how easy it is to link Oura with Natural Cycles for additional health information.
Oura's Gen 3 can additionally track body temperature, calories burned, comprehensive sleep data including latency and REM, blood oxygen, resting heart rate, and heart rate variability (HRV), breathing rate, respiratory rate, steps, and daily movement. The app also receives updates fairly frequently and allows users to update or edit any information and add info about their mood and meals.
If accurate and comprehensive health and wellness tracking is your top priority, you may benefit from the Oura Ring's sleep data, body temperature, daily movement, and other feminine health metrics.
Both rings are sized in a way that is different from normal ring sizing. Each company recommends that users order the specific sizing kits beforehand. Evie’s is complimentary, whereas Oura’s can be sent for free after the purchase of a ring or purchased for $10 from Target or Best Buy.

When a wearable is specifically marketed to be worn during the night, it’s important to have a long battery life.
The Evie Ring has a four-day battery life depending on how long the ring is worn for. Its charger is portable and can hold over 10 charges—similar to AirPods. The Gen 3 Oura Ring’s battery life stretches between five to seven days depending on usage, but the device needs at least 20% battery life in order to record data overnight.
While both the Oura and Evie rings have impressive battery life, the Evie wins this round, thanks to its four-day battery life, portable charger, and its ability to hold over 10 charges.
The first generation of any tech product is bound to have some glitches. We love the idea of the Evie Ring and the portable charger is a game changer, but when it comes to battery life, color options, and reliable data, the Gen 3 Oura Ring is still our top smart ring pick.
Though the Evie and Oura rings are standout options for sleek and wearable health and fitness tracking, the Gen 3 Oura Ring is our winner. This model offers the most value for its price tag, arriving with robust tracking metrics for everything from female health to sleep cycles, ring customization, and an overall thoughtful design at its price.
