For anyone who wants to have their own portable pickleball set for practice, fun, or vacation, this is a great get.

Gonex Pickleball Paddles with Bag

The Gonex pickleball set is available in either a two-paddle or four-paddle construction, each coming with a graphite carbon-fiber paddle face and a tournament-approved design. That provides them with a little more control than your standard wooden paddle, with each paddle weight at a light 7.9 ounces, which will help you reduce fatigue—though it may lack the power of heavier paddles and larger sweet spots.

This set also comes with an excellent gray bag and four balls, designed for both indoor and outdoor use.

Pros

  • Graphite paddles

  • Tournament-approved

  • Available in 4-player set

Cons

  • No net included

Product image of Gamma Legend NeuCore Pickleball Paddle
Gamma Legend NeuCore Pickleball Paddle

The Gamma Legend NeuCore Pickleball Paddle is a premium paddle designed for professional-quality use. It’s meant for serious players that want a high-quality, reliable paddle that can do it all to an extremely high standard. The Legend is particularly prized for its excellent power and control, thanks to the fiberglass surface.

Just be aware, when buying this, that the Legend is available alongside other high-end Gamma paddles like the Jester, Compass, Shard, and Hellbender styles. They all seem very similar (if not identical) and are all very highly reviewed, but we’ve read some players swear that the sweet spot can vary from type to type, and the Legend is the one we’ve seen most highly recommended.

Pros

  • Tournament-approved

  • Pro-ready control

  • Excellent comfort

Cons

  • Just the paddle

Niupipo Carbon Fiber Pickleball Paddles

If you like the Niupipo paddles but want a supposedly harder graphite surface, these are for you. These come with a carbon-fiber graphite paddle surface that should provide a little bit of extra pop. The paddles are still only eight ounces each, so you’re not getting any extra weight, but you also aren’t lugging more weight around through each rally either. Reviewers were particularly fond of these paddles’ ability to stand up to regular use, as long as you use the covers to prevent the hitting surface of the paddles from getting damaged.

Pros

  • Carbon Fiber surface

  • Includes balls

  • Tournament-approved

Cons

  • No net included
