Just when you think you’ve seen every toy the world has to offer, Mini Brands—the adorable company responsible for creating blind bags of miniature items—is bringing something new to the market. They’ve done famous characters, DIY kits, books, and food items, but now they’ve made the Mini Brands Fill the Fridge, and it’s gone viral online.
We share the internet’s fascination with tiny versions of everyday items. Still, one thing that often holds people back from collecting miniatures is the lack of a designated space for items like a small can of Olipop or a Pizza Hut box. But now, you can stock your very own fridge! It’s something both kids and adults can enjoy.
The Mini Brands fridge is pretty hard to find right now, but people are posting that they are having luck at the Target and Walmart websites by refreshing often.
After years of testing real refrigerators (and hundreds of other items), we’ve got a pretty good idea of what would make the Mini Brands refrigerator one of the best fridges—even if it is just a toy. What is Mini Brands Fill the Fridge?
The Mini Brands Fill the Fridge is a new series of the Mini Brands world that includes the fridge, accessories, and a few minis to get you started. Just like a real refrigerator, it has fridge and freezer sections, a magnetic front for adding magnets, an ice box, and an interior light (which also doubles as a UV light for some of the DIY items!).
What’s included in the box?
The set comes with everything you need to get started:
- The fridge
- All internal fridge components (3 shelves, 5 drawers, and 4 door bins)
- Ice scoop
- 7 exclusive minis, including a DIY item
- 1 fridge magnet
Are the mini food items random or set?
What do you want most? Hershey's syrup? Pizza Hut pizza? Or a Panda Express meal??
All Fill the Fridge miniatures are random, though you do get one magnet per individual capsule you purchase. Preview all the available items in the collector’s book, like eggs, ice cubes, produce, fish, and brands you know and love (what Mini Brands is known for!).
There are over 70 items to collect, and you can check them off as you go along to see which ones you’re missing. If you end up with any duplicates, the fun part about having the fridge to fill up is that it just looks more stocked, like you just went grocery shopping. Assemble multiple water bottles or freezer items, and it’ll look even more realistic.
Is it compatible with other Mini Brands sets?
Unfortunately, no. The Mini Brands Fill the Fridge set is specifically designed to work just with the fridge because they are extra mini. However, while the scale may be a little off, it’s undoubtedly on theme with the Mini Mart and the Mini Convenience Store. It's an excellent gift for kids who already love those playsets.
Why people are obsessed with the Mini Brands fridge
You’ve probably seen the new wave of “fridge restocking” videos online, where people unbox their Mini Brands Fill the Fridge capsules and populate their little fridges. (They’re oddly addicting!) Once you see how charming the items are—like the overnight oats with a removable lid—you’ll want one for yourself.
