In an effort to make its ultra-premium kitchen appliances even more attractive, Dacor has announced the new DacorMatch Color System. Builders and remodelers can simply provide Dacor with a swatch of any color and get cooking appliances to match.
Dacor's design team will also make 10 predetermined color choices available for off-the-shelf ordering, including "Radiant Orchid"—Pantone's Color of the Year for 2014.
This announcement is almost certainly a direct response to Whirlpool's own lineup of brightly colored home appliances, which have gained in popularity in recent years.
Dacor has also announced three new products alongside this colorful news: the Distinctive 36-inch Four-Door French Door Refrigerator, the Renaissance 36-inch Induction Cooktop, the Discovery WineStation, and the Discovery 36-inch Gas TouchTop. The latter, it's worth noting, is the first gas cooktop in North America with a timer and automatic shutoff feature for each burner.

DacorMatch will be available this fall, and the technology will also be on display at this year's Dwell on Design show in Los Angeles, starting next Friday, June 20th.
