*January 8, 2007* – Yesterday at CES, Samsung introduced the new CLX-3160FN multifunction color laser printer targeted to small office and home office users looking for affordable laser printing. In addition to its relatively low MSRP of $599.99, the new device measures in at a svelte 18.3' x 16.9' x 19.1' and weighs just 45 pounds, which should appeal to users with limited space. The CLX-3160FN prints at up to 600x600 dpi in Text Mode, and 1200 x 1200 dpi in Photo Mode.
Additional performance specs announced by Samsung include print and copy speeds of up to 17 PPM black and 4 PPM color, and fax scan speeds of 3 seconds per page. The CLX-3160FN supports PictBridge for printing direct from a digital camera, USB printing from PCs, and a "scan to email" option. The CLX-3160FN color multifunction printer was honored with a CES Innovation Award.
