For Design and Construction Week, Bosch gave us a sneak peak at its upcoming refrigerators, all of which will be available in April. Much of the launch announcement was about the Benchmark series of high-end appliances, so the Benchmark built-in fridge unsurprisingly got most of the attention.

Even so, the German manufacturer also showed off a freestanding French door and a 24-inch upright fridge on its show floor, giving home owners plenty of other options to explore.

The Benchmark built-in fridge is Bosch's top-of-the-line model, and is available in both 30-inch and 36-inch versions. The 30-inch allows for custom panels, which is a luxury feature that we don't normally see on the mass market. The 36-inch, though, is only available in stainless steel.

If you're familiar with the Freedom series of refrigerators from Thermador (a Bosch sister company), you'll recognize some of their design cues in Bosch's Benchmark. LED lighting is everywhere, giving the interior an attractive, show-worthy appearance—even when filled with groceries.

The hinges open by pulling out slightly before swinging open. Dubbed the Optiflex hinge, it allows the fridge to be installed flush with surrounding cabinetry without touching any of it, even when the doors are fully opened.

The Benchmark built-in refrigerator has an MSRP of $6,399 for the 30-inch version and $8,249 for the 36-inch version.

Bosch's counter-depth freestanding French door refrigerator is designed to give off a built-in look. It is part of the company's 800 Series, which is a step below the Benchmark line, but it comes equipped with the same LED theater lighting. Additionally, there's an internal water dispenser and an ice maker capable of generating four pounds of ice a day.

Finally, Bosch showed off a 24-inch European-style column fridge. As part of the 500 Series, it has the same interior lighting as the other Bosch fridges, and even comes with a classy wine rack. The bottom freezer has three roomy storage bins, but no ice maker.
