Owning a personal vending machine can feel like an extreme luxury, but that doesn't mean you need to spend luxury prices to get one. The Hisense Chill personal vending machine is now available for just $299 from P.C. Richard. That's a huge drop from the usual $600-or-so price tag found at Home Depot, Amazon, and other retailers.

We've been trying out the Chill in our company break room, and it's been a hit. The upper vending portion has four dispenser tiers, and can hold up to 72 cans or 36 bottles. There's also a lower section that's basically a conventional mini fridge with three shelves, one of which is deep enough to fit cases of soda. It can hold up to 60 12-oz. cans, bringing the total can capacity to 132.

Each dispenser button can be lifted up for inserting labels that will remind you whether you're getting juice, soda, beer, or whatever other drink you decide to store. And the big screen on the front can be fitted with customized photos or prints. Hisense recommends getting your images made at Fathead, but we haven't tried it out ourselves.

{{ amazon name="IZZE Sparkling Juice, 4 Flavor Variety Pack", asin="B00XA0DP86", align="right" }} There's also a child lock available so your kid doesn't accidentally grab a Guinness instead of a grape juice, making this a versatile vending machine whether you're having a slumber party, watching the big game, or desperately trying to forget about the past year's worth of political campaigning.

Now, P.C. Richard is no Home Depot—if you don't live near one, you're going to have to spend $99 on shipping, bringing the total cost to $398 plus tax. Still, that's about $200 less than the Chill's regular price, which seems pretty cool to us.
