Things I love in no particular order: shopping on Amazon, buying inexpensive clothes, and working out. Combine all of the above and you basically get a summary of what I’ve been up to the last year. I’ve spent way too much money on Amazon buying way too many clothes to wear to way too many workouts.
In doing that, however, I’ve had the opportunity to try out a lot of Amazon’s most popular activewear. I’ve learned what is actually worth buying and what isn’t, no matter what reviewers are saying. Below are the top five pieces I’ve bought from Amazon, including the best leggings and one of my all-time favorite sports bras.
1. This one-shoulder sports bra
Wearing this sports bra is an instant confidence boost for me.
One-shoulder sports bras are one of those things I never knew I needed—until I bought my first one. With a compressive fit, ample padding, and a flirty cutout in both the front and back, it’s equal parts supportive and sexy. I typically wear a size 32D bra and found the size small sports bra to fit comfortably—it doesn’t cut into me yet is tight enough to minimize bouncing.

2. These Lululemon Align legging dupes
I wear these leggings both for working out and for lounging.
I love my Lululemon Aligns—I own 12 pairs!—but I don't love the $100 price tag. I've been searching for a dupe to the Lulu leggings for years and I finally found it. I tested some of the most popular leggings and Colorfulkoala makes the best by far. 3. These seamless bike shorts
These shorts hit mid-thigh, which is the ideal length in my opinion.
As evidenced by the above, I'm a big fan of dupes. So when I saw these bike shorts—which look identical to the influencer-famous Gymshark shorts—I knew I had to snag a pair. And they didn't disappoint. The high waist has a wide compressive band that's not too tight—no muffin top here!—and they don't ride up while I'm working out. Plus, there's a subtle heart design on the back that makes your booty look even better, which I'm definitely not complaining about.

4. These versatile crop tops
I wear one of these tank tops almost every day.
I bought a pack of these crop tops after seeing multiple people post about them on Instagram. They're made from a soft spandex and feature a fitted racerback design. The tank tops hit an inch above my navel so they aren't too short or too long—they leave a tiny strip of exposed skin when paired with high-waisted leggings. And you get four for less than $30 which, to me, is a steal.

5. These adjustable scrunch shorts
I can squat in these shorts without them riding up or pulling down.
I never used to like wearing shorts while working out but for some reason, that changed this year. So I've been stocking up, which has involved trying a lot of styles and brands. I'm not a fan of longer shorts, so I'm always on the hunt for shorter options that won't expose my butt every time I move (the struggle!). Fortunately, I found these. They're a thigh-baring 3-inch length but it works for my 5-foot-5 frame. The waist isn't too high—the shorts sit about an inch below my belly button—and I like that you can loosen or tighten the drawstrings on the side to make them shorter or longer. They're flattering, comfortable, and most importantly, squat-proof.
