Each year, there are a handful of golden opportunities to land a great deal on a new TV. Labor Day weekend is one of such opportunity, as stores typically offer steep discounts on or around the holiday weekend. Today, Best Buy is kicking off its Labor Day TV sales early, which means you can already pick up some of the best TVs money can buy for a fantastic price.

We spend all year testing and reviewing the most popular TVs, so allow us to separate the wheat from the chaff. Here are the best deals to look out for during this exciting sale.

1. LG C1

The LG C1 is one of the best TVs we've ever seen, and right now, it's on sale at Best Buy.

The LG C1 is one of the best 4K TVs we've seen all year and our current pick for the best TV you can buy, so naturally, we're quite excited to see it on sale right now. Right now, you can get $200 to $500 off all five sizes of the LG C1: 48 inches, 55 inches, 65 inches, 77 inches and 83 inches. There might not be a better time this year to land one of the best TVs we've ever seen.

Being an OLED TV, the C1 is capable of perfect black levels, eye-popping contrast, and incredibly rich, accurate color. But what really puts the C1 over the top is its laundry list of extra features and enhancements, which includes LG's webOS smart platform, Dolby Vision HDR support, a 120Hz refresh rate, LG's Game Optimizer, Variable Refresh Rate, Auto Low Latency Mode and more.

In addition to their world-class picture, OLED TVs are also known for their incredibly thin design. The LG C1 is no exception—its wafer-thin panel ensures that this TV looks incredible even when it's off.

2. LG G1

The LG G1 OLED TV is intended to hang on the wall like a portrait, but you can buy a stand separately if you'd rather not wall-mount it.

The LG G1—LG's "Gallery OLED" for 2021—is every bit as good as the LG C1, but it's designed to hang on the wall like a portrait. You can opt to put the G1 on a stand, but the extra stand is sold separately. As is the case with the C1, every size option in the LG G1 series is on sale at Best Buy today, with discounts between $300 and $500 for the 55-inch model, the 65-inch model, and the 77-inch model.

The G1 is kitted out with just about every top-of-the-line feature you could possibly imagine: 120Hz refresh rate, Auto Low Latency Mode, Variable Refresh Rate and plenty more. It's also one of the brightest 4K OLED TVs we've ever tested, making it a great pick for folks with relatively bright living rooms.

3. LG A1

The LG A1 is a great pick for folks who yearn for OLED picture quality but don't necessarily need extra features.

If you yearn for incredible OLED performance and don't mind a slimmed-down set of features, the LG A1 might be the TV you've been waiting for. The A1 doesn't offer the robust suite of gaming-related features that you'll find on other LG OLEDs this year, and its refresh rate is limited to 60Hz. But while you're not getting HDMI 2.1 or Variable Refresh Rate, the LG A1 is nevertheless an OLED TV, so you can expect perfect black levels, fantastic color and a supremely thin design.

Think of the A1 as LG's entry-level 4K OLED. It's a perfect fit for folks who want the OLED experience and a reliable smart platform, but who don't necessarily need future-facing features. Right now, Best Buy is slashing $100 to $400 off all four sizes: 48 inches, 55 inches, 65 inches and 77 inches.

4. LG CX

The LG CX was released in 2020, but it's still one of the best TVs you can buy right now.

The LG CX was released last year, but don't let its age fool you: It's almost as good as this year's LG C1. In fact, when we decided to compare the LG CX and the LG C1, we were thrilled to learn that the CX is still near the top of its class. You're getting world-class 4K picture quality, a razor-thin design, and a heaping helping of extras, including HDMI 2.1, Variable Refresh Rate, Auto Low Latency Mode and a native refresh rate of 120Hz.

The CX saw a price drop after the release of the 2021 LG C1, and this sale sweetens the pot even more. Starting today, you can enjoy discounts of between $75 and $300 on the 48-inch model, the 55-inch model and the 77-inch model.
