Gamers get a native 165Hz panel, VRR support, and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro for silky motion, while movie night benefits from Dolby Vision IQ, Dolby Atmos, and IMAX Enhanced. Google TV keeps streaming simple, and the built-in 4.1.2 audio is surprisingly stout if you’re not looking to add a soundbar to the mix. The TCL QM6K wins our budget crown by delivering true Mini-LED performance at a price that usually buys basic QLED. Its QD-Mini LED backlight, TCL Halo Control local dimming, and a high-contrast panel serve up punchy HDR with crisp highlights and convincingly deep blacks—without the annoying haloing you expect at this tier. Sports and video games look razor-smooth, thanks to a native 144Hz panel, Game Accelerator up to 288 VRR, and HDMI 2.1. Google TV keeps apps tidy and quick, while the Onkyo speaker system with Dolby Atmos does the job on sound (though we’ll recommend our favorite soundbar below).
