I didn't expect to still be getting shopping texts from my coworkers on the last day of Prime Day 2026. Turns out, when you work with people who think about products constantly, the final hours of a sale bring out some strong opinions.
This is the last update to our staff picks list—real purchases, real reasoning, from people who are very hard to impress and apparently very easy to sell on a good deal.

Leigh Harrington, Executive Editor

“I always wait to see if Korean skincare brand Mediheal will put their products on sale…particularly the sheet masks and the face serum. They are lightweight and perfect for summer.”
Vaughn Weiss, Platform Developer

- Prime Day price: $22.79, down from $27.99
“AC season is here, and I can hear my neighbor’s unit. I’m getting a noise machine so I can help drown out the noise and still stay focused while working at my desk.”
Lauren Forgione, Director, Strategic Content & Communications
- Buying: Nespresso Capsules
- The deal: $36, down from $45

- Buying: Paula’s Choice Retinol Face Treatment
- The deal: $45.50, down from $65
"I always refill all my skincare for the entire year, haha, especially Paula’s Choice CLINICAL 1% Retinol and other Paula’s Choice products. They usually have pretty big discounts for Prime Day (and they're a good brand!)."
