The GE GTDP400EMWS may not be much to look at, but it certainly gets the job done. This little white box will thoroughly and consistently dry your clothes just as well as some of the higher end models on the market today. It lacks a degree of customization that more expensive models might offer, but with an MSRP of just $549.99, it provides reliable service without breaking the bank.

These days, decent drying isn't quite good enough. The {{product.name}} is actually a good dryer, but it couldn't get to the level of performance that the best dryers manage to offer. While most cycles got clothes nearly all the way dry, it only reached the 100 percent mark when temperatures got higher than we like to see. There isn't much by way of extra features to make up for that lack of truly effective drying, either. It's unfortunate, really - this {{product.brand.name}} did well, just not well enough to make it worth purchasing at full price. If you can find it one sale - perhaps by a few hundred dollars below its $849 MSRP - it could be a great machine for those getting there first or second dryer. Shopping around, though, you may find other appliances for the same price that do a better job, take better care of your clothes, and give you more features to play around with.
