Pentax Announces Two New Telephoto Lenses

With PMA  just round the corner, Pentax like many other imaging companies announced a plethora of products. Pentax hence updated its SDM lenses line up by adding the smc PENTAX DA** 200mm f/2.8 ED (IF) SDM (focal length equivalent to 300mm in the 35mm format) and the smc PENTAX DA** 300mm f/4 ED (IF) SDM (focal length equivalent to 450mm in the 35mm format).

Both telephoto lenses have been developed specifically for PENTAX digital SLRs and feature a a Quick-shift Focus System for instant switching from auto focus to manual. The lenses are also weather resistant and dust resistant bodies.
