July 13, 2007 *– Sigma recently released a firmware update to its flagship SD14 DSLR, correcting display issues. Firmware version 1.04 fixes bugs with the video output display, number of shots display, and a recognition error with Intel-based Mac computers. The Sigma SD14 update is currently available online for download.

The recent update corrects a problem when the DSLR freezes and displays an Error message, in addition to video output display. The firmware also now shows the correct number of shots left on a CF card’s memory. Finally, with the updated software, Intel-based Mac OS 10.4.9 operating systems now recognize the camera as Removable Disk on the computer desktop.

Sigma recommends that SD14 with firmware versions 1.03 or lower upgrade to the most recent camera software. Users can download SD14 v1.04 at the Sigma’s download webpage.
