American photographer David Zimmerman has won the L'Iris D'Or Award, the 2009 Sony World Photography Awards Photographer of the Year. The American photographer's entry in the Landscape category made him win $25,000 cash prize along with Sony camera equipment. The rest of the winners are listed below:
