Adobe® Photoshop® CS4](https://store2.adobe.com/cfusion/store/index.cfm?view=ols_cat&store=OLS-UK) and Photoshop CS4 Extended have been officially announced. Photoshop CS4 now includes Content‐Aware Scaling, which enables users to intelligently size and scale images with a simple drag of the mouse. One will also come across new Camera Import controls, visual folder navigation, and a Carousel View for larger image‐group selections.

Photoshop CS4 Extended has all the features of CS4 and also includes the ability to manipulate 3D imagery as one can paint directly on 3D models and surfaces, merge 2D files onto 3D images and animate 3D objects. Adobe Photoshop CS4 and Photoshop CS4 Extended for Mac OS X on Intel®‐based and PowerPC®‐based systems and for Microsoft® Windows® XP and Windows Vista™ platform are scheduled to ship in October 2008.
