*August 16, 2006 – *On Monday, online photography magazine Adorama Academy launched a mini editorial website, SFX: Special Effects Photography."

The New York-based online equipment retailer Adorama went live with the website two days ago. The SFX site features 18 articles with step-by-step procedures to utilize Photoshop and in-camera functions and for special effects photos. Written by a former editorial staff of Popular Photography and Imaging, Modern Photography, and Shutterbug Magazine, the website is geared towards users of both digital and film. The articles include tips on how to zoom during exposure, strobe photography, and a section on glass filters vs. Photoshop.

The Adorama SFX website plans to feature more tutorial articles, stated Adorama Academy Editor Mason Resnick in the news release.
