The newly released AKVIS Sketch v.7.0 for Windows and Macintosh is now retailing for $72 USD. The software converts photos to realistic pencil and watercolor drawings and the latest version is available as a stand-alone application, as well as a plug-in to a photo editor.
Version 7.0 includes a number of new special effects, which further enhance the final rendition, and makes them more realistic. Some of them include; blending of the final drawing and the original image; imitating motion or adding 'time machine effect' by swirling the background.
