February 5, 2007 *– Plug-in developer Connected Flow released an Aperture to Final Cut Pro 1.0 plug-in last week, allowing users to directly send photos from Mac's photo solution application to the video editing program. The free Final Cut Pro 1.0 plug-in is currently available for download.

Aperture to Final Cut Pro 1.0 offers support for every transition available in Final Cut Pro 5, according to the Connected Flow website. Users will then be able to make DVDs with direct exportation between the two applications.

Aperture currently offers other export plug-ins with partners including Digital Railroad, iStockphoto, Photo Shelter, Getty, and Flickr. Connected Flow also offers a FlickrExport for the Mac photo management program iPhoto.

Users can download Aperture to Final Cut Pro at http://connectedflow.com/aperturetofinalcut/.
