June 23, 2006 – *The popular Mac photo-management software program, Aperture, received an incremental update, with the release of version 1.1.2 on Wednesday. The update is 'recommended for all Aperture users,' says the Apple website.

Version 1.1.2 is a general routine update, according to Apple public relations program manager Christine Wilhelmy. 'Minor things were fixed, nothing big,' says Wilhelmy.

The major update, Version 1.1, released in April, corrected RAW quality. The May update Aperture 1.1.1 further improved minor controls such as white balance and IPhoto importing. Since then, the new version 1.1.2 simply ensures 'overall reliability and performance,' says the Apple website. Apple has not released version 1.1.2 specifics.
