June 22, 2007 – Breeze Systems yesterday released BreezeBrowser Pro v1.7, an update to its image browsing software and raw conversion program. The new version includes GPS support and is fully compatible with Windows Vista.
Version 1.7 includes a GPS template that uses an image's embedded GPS data to produce online images galleries, which can be viewed as thumbnails or a map. Users can choose to display their images in Google Maps, Microsoft Live Search or Yahoo! Maps. This feature supports cameras that include GPS receivers.
The program now fully supports Windows Vista and raw conversion for the Canon EOS-1D Mark III, Nikon D40 and D40x. Contact sheet layout now has a "jump to source folder" option, and the keyword editor now recognizes keyword synonyms.
The Windows-based software is now available for $69.95 or $89.90 when bundled with Downloader Pro. Version 1.7 can be downloaded as a free upgrade for current BreezeBrowser customers who purchased their program after June 21, 2006.
