Ricoh Releases R6 Firmware Update

Ricoh last week released a firmware update to the Caplio R6 point-and-shoot digital camera. Version 1.43 changes the zoom values on the LCD display in Macro and My Setting modes.

August 28, 2007* - Ricoh last week released a firmware update to the Caplio R6 point-and-shoot. Version 1.43 changes the zoom values on the LCD display in Macro and My Setting modes. The update is currently available online for both Mac and PC formats.

To install the update, users can download the firmware file from the Ricoh site. Before downloading, users should format the memory card and then change the USB setting, making sure the camera is turned off before connecting via USB. Users can then run the program, following prompted instructions.

The Caplio R6 version 1.43 firmware is compatible with Windows 98 and higher and Mac OS 9.0 systems and higher. Ricoh users can download the free upgrade from the Ricoh website.
