Rob Galbraith today posted a 8,500-word analysis, evaluating the updated Canon EOS-1D Mark III that the manufacturer is currently shipping at $3999 retail. With an upgraded sub-mirror mechanism, the new model corrects the Al Servo auto focus that a number of photographers cited as problematic back in May, according to Galbraith.
