October 19, 2005 -* Canon U.S.A. yesterday announced a rebate program it has dubbed "Cash In With Canon," a holiday promotion running from now until January 15, 2006. During the promotion, customers who purchase certain lenses, cameras, or printers can receive rebates, and when certain products are purchased in conjunction with each other, the combined rebates double or triple in value. Some single rebates are available on select Image Stabilizer Binoculars and EX series Speedlights.
Senior vice president and general manager Yukiaki Hashimoto of the Consumer Imaging Group at Canon U.S.A., Inc. stated, "The Cash in With Canon Rebate Program gives consumers the chance to save big when they purchase a Canon system - camera, lens and printer. This package will deliver the ultimate photographic experience and a tremendous value at the same time.'
Customers who send in receipts to receive their rebates will also be automatically entered into the Canon Fantasy Photographer Sweepstakes drawing, which offers a prize of a travel pack for four to Honolulu, Hawaii for the 2006 NFL Pro Bowl on Feb. 12, 2006, an EOS Digital Rebel XT camera kit, and a pass to shoot on the field with pro sports photographers.
