The Nikkei English News is reporting that the Tokyo-based company Canon plans to increase its digital camera production and laser printers in China and Vietnam to meet increased demand in emerging markets.
Canon aims to double its production of digital cameras in China and hope to achieve a goal of 10 million units a year by 2009. If everything falls in its place then Canon will boost its worldwide digital camera production capability by 20 percent.
