July 11, 2007* – Software developer DxO Labs yesterday announced added support for recently released Canon and Nikon camera bodies and a Tokina fish eye lens. The photo editing program DxO Optics Pro v4.5 comes in Starter, Standard, and Elite editions. The Elite version adds supports for the Canon EOS 1D Mark III and the Standard and Elite editions now support the Nikon D40x DSLR and the Tokina AT-X 107 AF DX Fish Eye AF 10-17mm f/3.5-4.5 lens.

"We are very excited to add support in DxO Optics Pro for this exciting lens by Tokina. Properly supporting full-frame fisheye lenses is a challenge in itself and doing so for the first time with this Tokina fish-eye zoom lens was a groundbreaking achievement by our technical team. This confirms that DxO Optics Pro remains the undisputed leader when it comes to enhancing the performance of Digital SLR lenses through software," said DxO Labs vice president Luc Marin of the Photography Business division.

DxO Optics Pro v4.5 is compatible with PC and Mac operating systems and is available for download at the company website. The Starter edition is priced at $79, the Standard at $169, and the Elite version at $299.
