October 31, 2006* – DxO Labs announced a Windows update to their photo editing software DxO Optios Pro version 4. The update adds support for the recently released Canon Digital Rebel XTi and the Nikon D80 DSLRs.

Geared for DSLR support and lens automatic image enhancement, DxO Optics Pro v4 promises to release another update which will provide expanded lens support for the Canon XTi and Nikon D80. It will follow soon after this initial update.

"As soon as major Digital SLRs are released by the manufacturers, we are under incredible pressure from the photography community to support them in DxO Optics Pro," said Luc Marin, DxO Labs vice president of the Photography Business, in the DxO Labs release today. "Increasingly, demanding photographers are adopting DxO Optics Pro as a critical accessory to their equipment and support by DxO is fast becoming a gear selection criteria," said Marin.

The Windows version of DxO Optics Pro Standard or Elite v4 is available now at www.dxo.com, and the Mac version will be available in late November.
