Dec. 7, 2007 – Underwater product manufacturer Fantasea this week announced an underwater housing for the Nikon Coolpix L14 point-and-shoot. The housing, which allows users to take their cameras to depths of up to 200 feet, will retail for $245 when it is released in early January.

The housing allows full access to controls on the camera while underwater, and features double O-ring seals to prevent water from reaching the camera. An anti-glare hood over the LCD helps it remain visible underwater.

A number of Fantasea-brand accessories can be added to the housing, including wide-angle/macro conversion lenses, digital flashes, and flash housings.

Included with purchase is a free one-year D.E.P.P. flood insurance policy in case the camera is damaged by water due to a housing malfunction.
