October 12, 2005 -* Today Canon has made firmware updates available for the 1D Mark II and 1Ds Mark II. The firmware addresses the problems of unreliable communication with some CF cards and file numbering errors that occur during bulb shooting. However, perhaps most notably, the firmware update for the 1Ds Mark II also addresses a problem with horizontal line noise.
