July 19, 2007* - Fujifilm UK has announced the FinePix A825, an addition to its budget A-series. The new point-and-shoot has identical specs to the A820, but comes in dark grey.

The A825 retains from its predecessor an 8.3MP Super CCD, 4x optical zoom lens, graphic interface, IrSimple technology, and dual card slot. It has a 2.5-inch LCD, 14 scene modes, and a sensitivity range of up to ISO 800.

The camera includes Fuji’s Intelligent Flash technology, which analyzes a scene and adjusts the flash’s power to optimize for detected faces in the frame. It also features a dual memory card slot, compatible with xD and SD cards; IrSimple technology for wireless transfer of data to compatible computers and printers; and a movie mode.

The A825 is available exclusively at Comet in the UK and is priced at £89.99 ($185 US). Yesterday, Fujifilm also announced the FinePix F45*fd* and FinePix F47*fd*.
