The entry level Nikon D60 DSLR has been reviewed by the Good Gear Guide who seem to be extremely impressed by Nikon’s latest offering. Images produced were accurate and "razor sharp" according the reviewer. The camera managed to impress on all counts and is at par with other Nikon DSLRs. ISO sensitivities extend to ISO 1600 and the inclusion of Dust reduction and Active D-Lighting is a thoughtful addition by Nikon.
Operating at four frames per second, the burst mode was found to be pretty adequate for the casual user. However the D60 is not without its fault and the Live View function was missed. The camera at times also produced minor chromatic aberrations.
