August 16, 2005 - Kodak’s consumer-friendly EasyShare line received the highest rankings in two of four categories in J.D. Power and Associates 2005 Digital Camera Satisfaction Survey. Receiving accolades in the $200-399 and $199 and below price points, Kodak’s EasyShare system ranked best in customer satisfaction for performance, connectivity, cost and appearance. This is the second year in a row that Kodak has taken top honors in the $200-399 segment.

Kodak offers 12 EasyShare models at $199 and below and 13 cameras in the $200-399 range. Kodak led the American digital camera market last year, with a 22.1 percent market share, stemming from strong sales of its simplified Easyshare line. Kodak shipped 2.15 million cameras in 2004, but its sales this year have not exhibited the same growth.
