Linux users can now be privy to the goodness of the popular LightZone Imaging Software as the company just released a Linux version. The LightZone Linux 3.3 can be downloaded for free at http://www.lightcrafts.com/linux.

The Beta version just like the Mac and Windows versions includes the ZoneMapper and Zone Tools, which are based on the (in) famous Zone System by legendary photographer Ansel Adams.  For the uninitiated, Zone Mapped looks for similar exposure areas within a photo and the Zone Tool adjusts these tonal groups.
