November 5, 2004 – For those frustrated consumers who tire of the low resolution compact cameras, U.K.-based FixerLabs released SizeFixer SLR, a software program that enlarges low resolution images without compromising the picture quality. This stand-alone program was created for both consumers and professionals alike.

"SizeFixer SLR is the results of many years of R&D work in the field of digital image processing," said FixerLabs Managing Director Tim Atherton. "The entire team at FixerLabs can be proud that after an intensive period of development, SizeFixer is already being hailed as the best resizing tool for professional photographers."

JPEG, TIFF and RGB images can be enlarged up to 400 percent. SizeFixer SLR was announced at Photokina and is now shipping for $249.
