The folks over at Luminous Landscape took the Olympus E3 for a test drive and looks like the E3 failed to leave much of a mark. The major drawback of the E3 was found to be its ergonomics. According to the review all important controls are positioned awkwardly, the buttons are found to be too small and the layout "counter-intuitive".
However all is not lost and the E3 does redeem itself when it comes to durability. E3 may just be the best choice for those shooting in harsh conditions and its strength lies in areas of auto focus, implementation of live view, dust reduction and environmental sealing.
