Manfrotto Releases Monopod with Improved One-Handed Operation

August 11, 2005 – Manfrotto, the Italian tripod manufacturer, has released a new monopod that features simple one-handed operatrion. The user simply pulls down on the leg to extend it. The 685B NeoTec Deluxe supports up to 18 pounds and features an improved safety lever for unlocking the leg, a foot pedal for one-handed alteration of height, and a suction cup foot and an insulated grip around the aluminum leg. 

Estimated pricing for the 685B is set at $176 and it is currently available at Bogen/Manfrotto dealers.
