June 18, 2007 – Consumer electronics manufacturer Mustek today announced a price reduction on its 7-inch digital photo frame (model PF-A700B). The Mustek frame, now priced at $99.99, has photo, video, and music capabilities.

According to Mustek, over 1.7 million digital photo frames were sold last year in the U.S.

"Consumers are finding that digital photo frames fit perfectly into their lifestyles," stated the company press release today. "Now, thanks to Mustek, even more will find that digital photo frames also fit their budget."

While other manufacturers also offer digital viewers at under $100, the PF-A700B is Mustek’s first digital photo frame that breaks the sub-$100 mark.

The Mustek 7-inch frame has a 112,320 pixel resolution TFT LCD monitor and a translucent white frame. The device supports JPEG photos, MPEG video, and MP3 audio. Users can zoom in on and rotate photos as well as adjust slideshow speed and volume with a remote control. The frame is compatible with SD, MMC, Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro, and CF memory cards.

The Mustek 7-inch Digital Photo Frame is available at retailers including JCPenney, Radio Shack, CompUSA, Office Depot or online at mustekdirect.com.
