Nikon maintained current features for Capture NX 1.1 including their U Point technology for controlling colors without layers and the ability to edit JEPG, TIFF, and NEF (Nikon RAW) files.

New features include support for Intel-based Mac OS X systems and for PC's Windows Vista operating system.
